WELCOME TO LOCO BY ARIES

​

Aries are the distributor of the Locost and LocoBlade kits, these are seven style cars based in either bike or car engines. We sell kits, parts, factory built cars, convert engines from car to bike, IVA work and presentation. The cars can be either right or left hand drive. There is both a LIVE AXLE and IRS version The IRS version uses shortened Ford Sierra drive shafts, thus keeping the proportions of the original Locost. There are several Stuart Taylor and Aries cars running on the British Locost Championship, with wins in 5 out of 6 years between 2000 and 2006. there are 5 currently running in the 2016 championships.

The ARIES LOCO uses an IRS Chasis, fully jig welded and includes all mountings, No more welding needed. Steel floors are attached as standard. Powder coating applied to chassis, wishbones and uprights providing years of protection.

Choices of variouse Ford engines from mild to wild

Given reliable 115bhp to over 320bhp

Transmission 5-6 speed

Steering: Right or Left hand drive

Eligible for: Magnificent Seven's, Hillclimbs, Sprints and variouse other championships.

Great for track days and makes a fun road car.

Module Kits

The perfect choice to guarantee your car passes IVA as it is designed to make your build less demanding. All parts are included and sent in singular modules clearly labeled as to guide you through your build easily, all you need to worry about is how quickly your build is progressing and when to order your next module... This option also saves having a garage full of parts that are not needed until the end and progress being halted whilst sourcing individual parts.

Build Guide

 

Step 1

Select Model and specifications to your choice from our module range, we will be on hand to offer advice right from the start, advising on any queries you may have and ensuring your finished design is tailored to suit your exact needs so it complies with all the regulations for the intended use of the finished product, be it road or race car.

Step 2

Modules are sent from the factory boxed with full build instructions, parts are clearly labeled and designed for easy assembly and delivered periodically at times to suit you directly to your garage/workshop.

Complete builds take an average of 100 hours, yet should be enjoyable with the complete assembly guide and technical support from our team ensuring you gain nothing but satisfaction from your build.

Step 3

If you wish to use your car on the road we will guide you through putting your car through an IVA test (Individual Vehicle Approval) ready to register it with the DVLA.

Your car will then be road legal to enjoy as you wish.
